Online Application Tips

The instructions at the start of the application and on each screen of the application will answer most of your questions and will guide you in providing us the information we need for quick and accurate processing of your application.
Incomplete information may delay the processing of your application, and incorrect use of the online system may cause your records to be lost.

The online application takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, but your application will stay open until you sign out or submit your application (it will not "time out" for inactivity).
If you choose to sign out before submitting your application, we recommend you also exit your browser window in order to protect your personal information.
Once you have created your log-in and started your application, your information will be available until the application deadline.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you complete and submit your application by 5pm Mountain Time on the published deadline date; you will not be sent reminders while your online application is in progress.

Your Social Security Number. Please note that disclosure of SSN is voluntary and is used for record keeping purposes. However, Colorado residents who wish to qualify for the College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend to receive state funding toward tuition expenses should include SSN.
Parent/Guardian information including mailing address and telephone/email/work contact (undergraduate applicants under age 23)
Documentation of Colorado residency IF you are claiming in-state tuition classification.
Your personal statement (freshmen and transfers). You will have the option to copy/paste OR type your personal statement directly into the application; we do not offer an "upload" feature.
