Non-Degree Students
Community members are welcome to take classes through the GUEST program, Summer Session, or Division of Continuing Education without being regularly admitted to the University.
GUEST
Granting University Enrollment for a Specific Term (GUEST) is a registration option for individuals who wish to take one or two University classes during a fall or spring semester without applying for admission to a degree program. GUEST students are cleared to take classes one term at a time providing the prerequisites have been met and there is space available in the class. Therefore, each term (fall or spring) requires submitting a GUEST application and a $25 nonrefundable application processing fee (effective beginning Fall 2009).
The Spring 2010 GUEST application will be available December 1.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their GUEST applications by Monday, January 11; registration begins Friday, January 15 and classes begin Monday, January 18.
The GUEST application will be available until 5pm Wednesday, January 27.
GUEST students will be able to register until noon on Wednesday, February 3.
Individuals interested in taking classes as a non-admitted student during the Summer term should use the Summer Only application, available beginning in February (refer to "Summer Session").
Summer Session
Summer Session at Colorado State is designed to respond to the needs of a diverse student population and to serve students of all ages. The flexible and broad array of courses provide exciting educational opportunities.
Division of Continuing Education
The Division of Continuing Education makes education accessible to traditional and nontraditional students as they seek and meet the challenges and opportunities of careers, new technologies, personal life transitions and personal enrichment. (A limited number of degree programs are available through the Division of Continuing Education and the CSU Denver Center.)
