18 Recommended High School Units
Priority Consideration is given to freshman applicants who have earned a minimum 3.25 GPA in the following 18 recommended high school units (grades of C- or better preferred). Applicants who have a GPA below 3.25 or who have not completed the 18 recommended high school units are encouraged to apply since a variety of factors are considered in the holistic review process.

- Academic electives may come from art, music, and drama/theatre; computer science; career-technical education programs such as agriculture and engineering; or any of the core subject areas listed here.
- The State of Colorado Higher Education Admission Requirements (HEAR) are a subset of the 18 recommended high school units and are essential for admission to any Colorado four-year public institution.
