Checking Application Status Online
Shortly after applying for admission to Colorado State University, applicants are
sent instructions for how to check the status of their application online, and the
steps are summarized here. Please note that an application is reflected in the Online
Application Status Check system only after application processing has begun, which
may be up to two weeks after the application has been submitted.
To check application status online, applicants must:
- Create an eID (electronic
ID, which consists of an eName and ePassword) using CSU ID (sent by the Office of
Admissions) and a limited amount of personal verification information. The process
is fewer than 10 steps and takes just a few minutes to complete.
- Log in to RAMweb using the eID.
- Under the Admissions heading, choose Application Summary.
On the Application Summary page, applicants can see the status of their application,
can review whether all required documents have been submitted, and can take a limited
number of actions to complete their application (if necessary).
Important Notes:
Applicants who have forgotten their eID can go to
Forgotten Password Help. If assistance is needed creating an eID, applicants
may contact the Office of Admissions at (970) 491-6909 or admissions@colostate.edu.
EID information can only be shared with the applicant and not with family members
because of the Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). More information
about FERPA is available as "Rights Regarding Students' Educational Records"
in the Policies and Guiding Principles section of the University General Catalog
or through the Department of Education, Privacy Policy (FERPA) site.
