Tuition and Financial Aid

Estimated Cost of Attendance

Admitted students must be able to demonstrate sufficient financial support to cover expenses for the first year of attendance and resources for subsequent years. For detailed information about estimated costs of attendance, see Colorado State University's Estimate of Expenses for International Students (PDF Format, 170KB).

Financial Aid and Work Opportunities

Colorado State University does not provide financial aid or scholarships for undergraduate international students. Only students who are US citizens or permanent residents are eligible for financial aid. International students need to explore scholarships, loans and sponsorship possibilities within their home countries; in addition, you are encouraged to review the financing resources listed on the Web Resources for Incoming International Students.

Students with either the Student visa (F1) or scholar visa (J1) are allowed to work on campus on a part-time basis (20 hours/week or less) while school is in session and full-time (40 hours/week) during breaks, as long as they maintain their F1/J1 status. There are a wide variety of employment opportunities available on campus. Consult the Student Employment office with Student Financial Services for details.
