TransCentral

TransCentral is a cooperative service that gives transfer students an opportunity to receive an admission decision, transfer evaluation, initial academic advising and financial aid information all within a two-hour appointment. TransCentral is designed for transfer students who meet admission requirements and are ready to apply for admission for the upcoming term.

What materials should I provide?

  1. Contact current and all former colleges/universities as well as high school(s) attended to have official transcripts sent at least two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow our Transfer Evaluation Office to prepare a preliminary evaluation of your credits. Send to: Office of Admissions, Colorado State University, 1062 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, Colorado 80523-1062.
  2. Please bring the following items to your appointment:

Where do I go for my TransCentral appointment?

Begin with the Admissions Welcome Center in Ammons Hall. You will meet with an Admissions Counselor who will review your Application for Admission and determine your admission status.

Next, you will meet with an Academic Advisor from the Center for Advising and Student Achievement to review and discuss how your transfer courses apply toward your intended major.

Last, you have the option to meet with a representative in Student Financial Services who will be available to assist you with any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process and scholarships.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Schedule your appointment by contacting Kim Klein in the Office of Admissions at (970) 491-6909. TransCentral is offered Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons throughout the fall and spring semesters. Plan to schedule your appointment at least three to four weeks in advance. If you are unable to take advantage of TransCentral, we encourage you to visit campus.
