TransCentral
TransCentral will give you an opportunity to meet with professional staff who will help you make the transition to CSU conveniently and efficiently. They’re ready to consult with you about topics like these:
- How to apply for transfer
- How your credits are likely to transfer to Colorado State
- What kinds of financial aid are available and how you can apply for it
How should I prepare?
To make the most out of your appointment, have transcripts from every college or university that you have attended delivered to the Office of Admissions at least two weeks prior to your appointment so we can thoroughly evaluate your transfer credits. Send to: Office of Admissions, Colorado State University, 1062 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, Colorado 80523-1062.
Where do I go for my TransCentral appointment?
TransCentral appointments occur in the University Welcome Center in Ammons Hall. You will meet with an Admissions Counselor who will review the admissions process with you.
Provided you have sent your transcript(s) ahead of time, you will also be able to meet with an Academic Advisor from the Center for Advising and Student Achievement to review and discuss your transfer credit evaluation and how your courses can apply toward your intended degree.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Schedule your appointment by contacting Kim Klein in the Office of Admissions at (970) 491-6909. TransCentral is offered Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons during the fall and spring semesters. Plan to schedule your appointment at least three to four weeks in advance. If you are unable to take advantage of TransCentral, we encourage you to visit campus.
