Once you’ve been to the Transfer Student Information Session, you’re ready for a conversation with professional staff who'll help you make the transition to Colorado State. They’re ready to provide you with in-depth guidance about:

  • The holistic review process for the admission application.
  • Using u.select to understand how your transfer credits apply at Colorado State.
  • Financial aid and scholarships that are available and how you can apply.
  • How you can plan for your academic success.
  • Referrals to other Colorado State offices to meet your particular needs, such as Veterans Services, Honors Program, etc.

Who should attend TransCentral?

TransCentral is open to students who've already attended the Monday morning Transfer Student Information Session. The program is designed for students who are exploring their transfer options or have decided to transfer to Colorado State within the next year. You can schedule your TransCentral appointment to be on the same day as your Transfer Information Session, or another Monday afternoon.

Transfer students who've already been admitted to Colorado State should contact the Orientation Office to register for Next Step Transfer Orientation.

How should I prepare for my TransCentral appointment?

To make the most of your appointment, have unofficial transcripts from every college or university that you've attended delivered to the Transfer Student Center at least two weeks prior to your appointment, so the Registrar's Office can provide a tentative evaluation of your transfer credits. Fax unofficial transcripts to 970-491-7581 or scan and email them. You can also mail them to TransCentral, Office of Admissions, Colorado State University, 1062 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, CO 80523-1062.

Think about the questions you'd like answered, and discuss them with the Transfer Student Center staff when you schedule your appointment.

Where do I go for my TransCentral appointment?

TransCentral appointments begin in the TILT Building, Suite 101, and will be customized to meet your particular goals. The Transfer Student Center will coordinate with other offices at Colorado State to make your visit as helpful as possible.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Schedule your appointment by calling the Transfer Student Center at 970-491-1858 at least three to four weeks in advance.
