Deadlines & Notification
To be considered for admission to CSU, you must meet our application deadline. Make sure you allow enough time for all of the supporting documents to arrive at our office by the deadline. The completed application and all required documents must be submitted before 5 p.m. Mountain Time (4 p.m. Pacific Time, 7 p.m. Eastern Time) to meet the deadline.
Fall Semester

* After this date, completed applications are considered until the final deadline (May 1 for freshmen and for all new international applicants; June 1 for transfers/second bachelor's candidates).

Application deadlines exist to provide sufficient time for the University and for incoming students to prepare for the start of the term. Occasionally, applicants encounter extenuating circumstances that prevent them from applying and/or completing an application on time, in which case applicants can submit a Deadline Extension Appeal.
