A visit program with a challenge. High achieving high school seniors with a either a 3.7 GPA, or 1230 SAT/26 ACT composite score or above are invited to attend an essay writing workshop led by CSU faculty and compete in a writing competition.

Eight one-year, scholarships ranging from $1,000-4,000 will be awarded to students selected from the writing competition. Students will have their choice of following a humanities track or science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) track during the event. Parents and families are encourage to attend. The day also includes a campus tour, student panel, lunch on campus, and scholarship ceremony.

Cost

There is a $15.00 per-person fee, which includes light morning refreshments, lunch in an on-campus dining center, and on-campus parking. Fee waivers are available. If this fee presents a financial hardship please review our event refund and fee waiver policies.
