What we do with the photos we take

Guests pose at the CSU admissions photo booth during a campus visit

While you are visiting us on campus, you may see Colorado State staff or students taking photos or videos of you and other guests. You may have noticed that when you sign up for an event, you are agreeing to let us use your photo in a lot of different ways, like on the Admissions website, social media accounts, emails, and printed publications. Rest assured that we will always work to represent your likeness in the best possible light following the high ethical standards we expect here at CSU.

We love showing future students, families, and guests what it’s really like at Colorado State, and photos and videos are the next best thing to being here. However, if you don’t want to have your photo or video taken, please let the photographer(s) know and we’ll be happy to respect your request.

Whether you’re looking to visit campus for the first time or the fifth, we have something for everyone. Head to our Visit Campus page to learn more.
