Choose Your Own Adventure

You went through countless edits on your application. You waited patiently to hear a decision. And finally, you received a packet and read two simple words: “You’re In.”

Now that you’re admitted, you have a lot to consider. At Choose CSU you customize your schedule to get the information most relevant to you. The day is set up conference style and  includes multiple sessions, tour opportunities, and presentations hosted by academic colleges and campus resources.

Whether you already know you’re a future ram, considering your options, or returning to campus for another visit, Choose CSU offers a unique way to explore campus.

Cost & Fee Waivers

Cost

Students are free and there is a $15.00 per-person event registration fee for additional guests. Event registration fee includes breakfast refreshments and on-campus dining meal.

Fee Waivers

Students who already qualified for an Application Fee Waiver will automatically receive an event fee waiver for one guest. Additional guests are $15.00 per-person.

Friday Events & Reception

Friday Events

The Friday afternoon before each Choose CSU all attendees are invited to a welcome reception from 4:45-6:00 p.m. Campus tours, additional academic tours, and open houses will also be available in the afternoon. A full list of Friday events will be made available to all attendees prior to the event date.

Bike Rentals

Explore Fort Collins and campus on two wheels

Interested in renting a bike during your visit? We’ve partnered with Recycled Cycles, a local bike shop and proudly owned by a CSU alumnus, to offer one or two day rentals.

Details including cost and pick-up location will be made available prior to the event date.

Where to stay 

We’ve partnered with the Hilton Fort Collins and reserved special room rates for Choose CSU attendees and guests for the Friday night preceding the event. Learn more and reserve for Choose CSU.
