Join us for Transfer Student Visit Day and discover how Colorado State empowers transfer students to reach their educational and career goals.

Whether you’re exploring your options, intending to apply, or you’ve already submitted your application, this event gives you the chance to see how transfer students are a priority at CSU.

Transfer Student Visit Day includes information on the credit and course evaluation process, optional campus and college/department tours, academic sessions based on your interests, opportunities to connect with campus resources, complimentary lunch at an on-campus dining hall, and more.

Join us for this specialized visit program and learn why transfer students choose CSU.

Note: Transfer Student Visit Day does not meet the on-campus orientation requirement for admitted students.

  • 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Supplemental programs & tours (various locations, optional)
    • Programming and locations TBA. Past options have included college and departmental tours, student panels, and Q and A’s with academic advisers. Further information and registration for supplemental programming and tours will be sent out at a later date.
  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Check-in and Campus Resource Fair (Morgan Library)
  • 11:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. | Lunch (Braiden Dining Center, optional)
  • 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. | Campus tours (optional)
    • Depart every 10 minutes from Morgan Library
  • 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. | Academic Sessions (Lory Student Center)
    • Options include College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Business, College of Health & Human Sciences, College of Liberal Arts, College of Natural Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering, and Warner College of Natural Resources
  • 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. | Breakout Session 1
  • 3:40 – 4:10 p.m. | Breakout Session 2
  • 4:20 – 4:50 p.m. | Breakout Session 3
    • Note: Breakout options vary by session and include Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Center, Course Planning & Preparation, Veterans Education Benefits, Honors, and a Student Panel
  • Academic session with your preferred college/department
  • Breakout sessions featuring various campus departments and resources
  • Optional campus tours and lunch in an on-campus dining hall
  • Optional college/department tours based on your academic interests
  • Resource fair featuring offices from around campus
  • Drop-in residence hall tours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Aggie Village Apartments, Allison Hall, Alpine Hall, Parmelee Hall)

There is no cost to attend this program. Complimentary lunch will be provided for participants in the Braiden Hall Dining Center.
