High School & Community Organization Group Visits

Group visits are available for high school teachers, counselors or community leaders to bring prospective students who are in 9th-12th grade to campus. Group visits aim to provide students an overview of the college admissions process, promote higher education as an attainable goal, and allow students to experience campus. Group visits consist of an information session led by an admissions representative followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. Groups also have the option to eat lunch on campus at the conclusion of the visit.

Reservations are required for group visits and must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. Dates fill up very quickly, so please be sure to check the calendar often. We encourage earlier reservations to better ensure that your group is able to come on your desired date and we are able to meet your group’s needs. If you need to cancel your visit, we ask for 48 hours notice (excluding weather related or unavoidable issues). Have questions? Please contact Admissions Counselor, Suzie Duarte at (970) 491-3757 or admissionsgroupvisits@colostate.edu

Group Size & Availability

Our office is committed to providing each group a quality experience. To ensure this, we are unable to accommodate groups larger than 50 due to the limited availability of staff and tour guides. Group visits reservations are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Reservations are not available during university recess.

Looking to schedule a group visit for Transfer Students? Please contact the Transfer Student Center at (970) 491-1858 or email transferstudentcenter@colostate.edu.
