Nighttime concert on campus with people all over

The time you spend in class will earn you a degree, but how you spend your time outside of class will shape your entire college experience at Colorado State University.

Our campus offers endless opportunities to eat, sleep and play, but the real value isn’t in the sunny open spaces or newly renovated facilities. It’s in the strong sense of community that develops when our students live together, work together, create together, and ground themselves in CSU tradition.

Clubs and organizations

Students salsa dancing

Inspire action, find your community, and fuel your passion through CSU’s nearly 500 registered student organizations. Join peers who love rock climbing or board games. Connect with others who speak Portuguese, who obsess over politics, who share your faith. Or if that’s not enough (we get it, at CSU we are always starting something new), you can create your own club, too!

Health and wellness

At Colorado State, all students have full access to the CSU Health Network’s wide range of medical, counseling, and health education services. Need a prescription? Eye exam? Lab work? Counseling? No matter your insurance plan (we offer one of those, too), you can count on us for compassionate and high-quality care.

Arts and culture

Immerse yourself in our three unique museums and a plethora of productions produced by a thriving School of Music, Theatre, and Dance — free tickets for full-time students! Or pull up a chair along the runway of CSU’s annual fashion show hosted by our design and merchandising department. Your taste buds can join the party, too, when you visit the student-run Aspen Grille. Also … did you know there’s a giant soup can signed by Andy Warhol outside the University Center of the Arts?

Sports clubs and intramurals

Our student-managed sports clubs and intramurals empower athletes to take bold risks outside of the classroom. Whether you excel at alpine skiing, esports, tennis, or triathlons, our dedicated teams will push you to achieve. CSU Rams compete throughout the country and have brought home more than 25 national championships.

On-campus housing and dining

Our on-campus housing and dining spaces provide welcoming areas for students to take a breather, reflect, and connect. More than 6,000 students call our Fort Collins campus home, and they love it here. That’s why we got an A- rating from Niche based on the quality of our housing, food services, and student reviews.
