Cultural Resource Centers

Who you are and how you identify matters, and it’s important you have a strong community to connect with as a CSU student.
Cultural Resource Centers at Colorado State University are designed to support students in a number of ways. We want you to be able to connect with others who share your experiences, understand your journey, and can become a part of your story. While each office listed may emphasize a specific segment of the student body, services and programs are available to benefit all students at CSU.
Adult Learner and Veteran Services (ALVS)
Non-traditional students often navigate academics and campus life in a unique way. While it’s not an official Cultural Resource Center, ALVS offers professional, academic, and personal support to ensure that you have the tools for success. Services include peer advising, scholarships, and leadership training.
Asian/Pacific American Cultural Center (APACC)
APACC welcomes all students and seeks to create a safe place for students of all backgrounds. APACC runs several educational and volunteer programs for students to help spread awareness of Asian American and Pacific Islander culture and connect students with one another.
Black/African American Cultural Center (B/AACC)
The Black/African American Cultural Center helps students who identify as, with, and/or in exploration of the Black/African American culture. The center provides a family-like support system that encourages academic, professional, cultural, and personal development.
El Centro
El Centro provides support for the Latinx/e, Afro-Latinx/e, Chicanx/e, and Hispanic communities and welcomes all students. The center is an energetic and welcoming place that focuses on awareness and understanding of the Latinx experience. Students can visit El Centro to relax, socialize, laugh, and build lifelong memories.
Native American Cultural Center (NACC)
NACC offers a supportive environment based on the traditions and cultures of Native American peoples. The center provides students with skills and strategies to make a positive transition to college life while maintaining the best of their native culture. The center also aims to educate the local community about Native American history, culture, and needs.
Pride Resource Center
The Pride Resource Center provides programs and services to support the retention and thriving of LGBTQ+ students at CSU. Pride offers regular opportunities for students to build community on campus. The center also serves as a connection point for students, employees, and community members seeking resources regarding coming out, transitioning, healthcare, mental health, finances, housing, document/record changes, and supporting loved ones.
Student Disability Center
The Student Disability Center is dedicated to ensuring that students with permanent and temporary limitations or conditions have the tools for success at CSU. It offers a campus shuttle, accommodation services like alternative testing and note-taking support, as well as a chance to build community via small groups and student clubs.
Survivor Advocacy and Feminist Education Center (SAFE)
The Survivor Advocacy and Feminist Education Center, previously known as the Women and Gender Advocacy Center, offers programs and resources focusing on gender, social justice, and interpersonal violence prevention. In addition to a safe and affirming community space, SAFE offers services like advocacy and victim support.
