You may have heard that Colorado State has 500+ student clubs and organizations. But how do you find the right ones for you? How do you narrow down from a list that includes everything from rocket club to hiking club to American Sign Language club? Well, we’ve got your back. If you’re curious what options you have for religious-centered groups on campus, here are just four (of many!) to look into deeper.
#1. Bridges International
Designed for international students who may seek to learn more or find connections within the Christian faith, Bridges International at CSU has a mission to serve the international student population in the USA and abroad. Many of Bridges’ staff have lived, studied, and worked overseas, and they understand the unique challenges facing international students. See what they’ve been up to lately.
#2. Muslim Student Association
CSU’s Muslim Student Association was created to help CSU students thrive in all aspects of their journey: educational, cultural, spiritual, and social. The MSA helps orient international students before and after their arrival to the university and assists in transition to life in the U.S. and Fort Collins. Seminars, speeches, and media from the MSA helps educate others about the geographically and culturally diverse Muslim societies, and holds Islamic services to explain the Islamic way of life for anyone interested.
#3. Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru)
CSU’s chapter of Cru, or Campus Crusade for Christ, is a student organization with a mission to support and/or introduce students to the Christian faith. Cru is a large student organization with multiple ways to connect and get involved, including weekly meetings, a fall retreat, a winter conference, and even summer mission trips. #4. Hillel of Colorado State University
CSU Hillel is a supportive environment to make friends, be in community, and explore healthy ways to thrive as an adult in the world with a Jewish connection. Hillel’s mission is to be a home away from home for students and support them on their Jewish journey.
