When: 8 AM to 4 PM, Friday, February 13, 2026
Who it's for: High school freshman, sophomores, and juniors (and their guests) who are in the early stages of their college and major explorations.
Where it is: Explore CSU is held at CSU's main campus in Fort Collins at the Lory Student Center.
What it is: At this exciting event, we'll walk you through some tips and tricks about the college search process and CSU's application process. You'll hear from each of our eight academic colleges and our Exploratory Studies program as they share insights into their academics, research, and scholarship and engagement opportunities available for Rams.
Your visit will also include a campus tour, lunch in one of our residential dining halls, a financial aid presentation, Student Involvement Fair, and an option to speak with our admissions staff to get all your questions answered. We can't wait to see you there!

Exploring Academic Pathways
Join us as we hear from representatives of each of Colorado State University’s eight colleges and Exploratory Studies program. During this exciting, presentation-style session, you’ll learn about the majors, minors, and concentrations each college has to offer along with how students engage with experiential learning and research.

Parking for your event is free, but you must provide your vehicle’s license plate when you register for your visit in order to obtain a digital permit.
Please note that the parking lot for this event (Moby Arena parking lot #195) is a 15-20 minute walk to the venue at the Lory Student Center. Please factor in this time as you plan your travel.
Parking is available in the Moby Arena parking lot (#195). The best address for GPS directions is 951 W. Plum Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521. Upon arriving, please park in a “A” parking space.
For those traveling on I-25 to reach Fort Collins, use these directions:
- Use exit 268, Prospect Road.
- Head west and continue on Prospect Road for about 5 miles.
- Turn right on Shields Street and continue for 0.2 miles.
- Turn right on Elizabeth Street into the Moby Arena Parking lot.
- Our events are popular and fill quickly. We encourage you to sign up for your event before you book your travel arrangements.
- Dress appropriately as you will be outside touring campus during your visit.
- We’re here rain or shine! You’ll be notified via text if the weather does impact your visit. Keep up to date by checking CSU’s safety website.
- Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and be kind to yourself as you are at 5,000 feet of elevation.

Coming from out of town?
For those traveling to Fort Collins by air, Denver International Airport is the closest major airport to Fort Collins. We are about 65 miles north of the airport, and there are several options for transportation following your flight.

What if we’re running late?
Late check-in will be available, but with hundreds of guests for this event, we encourage you to arrive early. We don’t want you to miss a thing! Classes will be in session, so there will be additional on-campus traffic. Additionally, the interstate can be unpredictable, among other factors. We strive to make check-in as easy and quick as possible, though lines will likely be unavoidable at times.
Can I bring my parents, guests, caregiver or siblings?
Parents and caregivers are welcome to join you for this event. We even have programming specifically for them. If you’d like to bring your friends or siblings who are also current high school juniors or seniors, we ask that they register independently.
What if there is a weather emergency?
In the event CSU is closed due to weather, all registrants will receive a text notification of the event’s cancellation, and a notice will be posted at safety.colostate.edu. It is rare for CSU to close due to weather due to our well-equipped facilities department, but we want you to make the decision whether to attend based on your circumstances and comfort.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather. You may be a part of sessions that are both indoors and outdoors, especially if you choose to take the campus tour.
