Erin Pitts
I have spent two decades championing access, equity, and success in higher education, with a passionate focus on transfer students. My work is rooted in the belief that every student — regardless of background — deserves a clear, supported path to a bachelor’s degree. I’ve contributed to statewide transfer initiatives in Colorado and supported students through nationally recognized programs, including GEAR UP, TRIO, the Gates Foundation, and beyond. My expertise also extends to degree mapping and curriculum alignment to remove unnecessary barriers to completion.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with more than 15,000 prospective transfer students, including former foster youth, students experiencing homelessness, and those navigating college alone.
I’m the assistant director of the Ram Transfer Academy at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, which provides intensive, wrap-around support to help students transfer and thrive. My greatest joy is walking alongside students as they transform obstacles into achievements.
