The weather is a dream. Sunshine in the winter, winters that feel noticeably milder than Chicago, warm summers without the humidity, and far fewer bugs than I was used to growing up in the Midwest.

Fort Collins only adds to the magic. Mornings can start with a sunrise hike up to the “A”, and evenings might end watching the sunset over Horsetooth Reservoir. In between, you can explore miles of foothill trails, paddleboard on the reservoir, grab coffee downtown, or try your way through more than 600 restaurants.

It really is a bit of a magical bubble, and I feel so lucky to help students find their way here. I’m also a mom of three, so I understand how big this decision is for both students and families. I work remotely and live in DeKalb County, Illinois … I’m here cheering for you!
