Three people walking down sidewalk on campus

Want to see Colorado State University at your own pace? Our free, self-guided tour app will lead you on a tour of campus. The app’s augmented reality feature lets you use your camera on your phone to hear and see more about each building.

You can choose a general tour, or enter a few details about your academic and involvement goals to view a more personalized tour based on your goals and the time you have. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  • Step 1: Download the free, self-guided tour app for Apple/iOS or Android.
  • Step 2: Fill out your profile, including your user type (parent/family, prospective student, etc.)
  • Step 3: Choose either a pre-made tour, which takes you through key spaces around campus, or choose your own adventure on a personalized tour based on your interests!

The app will use your location to provide walking directions, information for each stop, and an augmented reality feature that allows you to explore more about the area around you.

All visitors, including those on a self-guided tour, are required to follow CSU’s COVID health protocols while on campus. See more information about expectations below.

Not sure where to start? Use this campus map to help plan your visit before you arrive!

It’s recommended that you begin your visit and self-guided tour by stopping by the University Welcome Center at Ammons Hall, 711 Oval Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80521.

Parking permits are required for all visitors, except if visiting after 4 p.m. or on weekends. Visitors can obtain a digital parking permit by checking in at the Welcome Center between 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The Welcome Center will also be open between 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday.

These digital permits are valid in any “Reserved Parking for Admission Guest” spaces in front of the building or in any “A” lot to the west of the building.
