Being admitted to Colorado State University is the first of many exciting steps to follow. Now is a great time to explore life as a Ram!

Our admitted student events are all about helping you see what life as a Ram is really like. Whether you’ve already said yes to CSU or you’re still weighing your options, these events can help you picture your future here.

We offer a few unique ways for admitted students to experience CSU. Join us for one or for all!

Big, spirited, and packed with options

Dates: February 13, 2027, and April 3, 2027
Best for: Students and families who want the full CSU experience in one exciting day.
What to expect: Lots of options and energy! From our exciting kickoff in Moby Arena to sessions about academics, housing, student life, financial aid and more — to games and tours, you’ll experience at LOT of CSU energy on this unforgettable day.

Admitted Student Information Sessions

Personal and all about your next steps

Dates:

Best for: Students and their guests looking for a shorter visit in a smaller setting that provides admitted student next steps and opportunities to learn more about your major.
What to expect: A presentation that covers next steps, including housing and financial aid. You’ll get a guided campus tour and hear from current CSU student ambassadors about what it’s really like to be a Ram. You also may have an opportunity to join a session about academics (limited availability).

Last but not least, students get a free ticket to eat at a dining center, and family members/guests can pay for tickets to join along. The cost is $17.25 plus tax for anyone over age 10; $12.90 plus tax for kids between ages 5-10; and free for children under 5.

Admitted Student Receptions

Celebratory and community-oriented

Admitted Student Receptions take place in different cities around the country! This year, we’re coming to Seattle, Austin, Dallas, Northern California, Southern California, and a few towns on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Best for: Students and their guests looking to attend a CSU event that’s close to home. Even if you attend this one, we highly encourage you to join us for an event on campus in Fort Collins.
What to expect: You’ll get to talk to your admissions counselor, hear from current CSU students and families, and meet fellow admitted students from your area. You’ll also have the chance to take home some CSU swag and learn about your next steps to imagine your life at CSU!
