This event is designed for juniors and seniors who attend a school in the Poudre School District and want to learn more about Colorado State University and what life is like as a CSU Ram!

Who it's for: High school juniors and seniors (and their guests) who want to learn more about Colorado State University

Where it is: Poudre School District Visit Day is held at CSU's main campus in Fort Collins at the Lory Student Center

What it is: Calling all Poudre School District students! This visit day is designed for juniors and seniors who attend a school in the PSD system and want to learn more about CSU and what life is like as a Ram. Family members are welcome to attend!

We'll host interactive sessions that demonstrate how CSU provides both an affordable and excellent education. You can join a campus-wide resource fair, explore CSU during a campus tour, and eat lunch in a CSU dining hall. The day is designed to showcase how you can continue to engage with and expand your community in Northern Colorado after high school. We can't wait to see you there!

Parking for your event is free, but you must provide your vehicle’s license plate when you register for your visit in order to obtain a digital permit.

Parking is available in the Moby Arena parking lot (#195). The best address for GPS directions is 951 W. Plum Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521. Upon arriving, please park in a “A” parking space. Please note that the parking lot for this event is a 15-20 minute walk to the venue at the Lory Student Center. Please factor in this time as you plan your travel!

For those traveling on I-25 to reach Fort Collins, use these directions:

  • Use exit 268, Prospect Road.
  • Head west and continue on Prospect Road for about 5 miles.
  • Turn right on Shields Street and continue for 0.2 miles.
  • Turn right on Elizabeth Street into the Moby Arena Parking lot.

We continuously try to make our campus a vibrant, welcoming space. Please check the following information before your visit.

  • For the health of our university community, no smoking, vaping or tobacco products can be used on Colorado State University campuses. The city of Fort Collins is also smoke-free.
  • With the exception of service animals and approved emotional support animals, animals are not allowed to be inside university buildings or tied up outside. All pets must be on a leash in outdoor areas. See the full animal policy here.

What if we’re running late?

While late check-ins are welcome, we encourage you to arrive early. Our goal is to make the check-in process as easy as possible, but lines and wait times can be unpredictable. Don’t worry, we won’t turn you away if you’re running a little late!

Can I bring my parents, guests, caregiver or siblings?

Parents and caregivers are welcome to join you for this event. If you’d like to bring your friends or siblings who are also current high school students, we ask that they register independently.

What if there is a weather emergency?

In the event CSU is closed due to weather, all registrants will receive a text notification of the event’s cancellation, and a notice will be posted at safety.colostate.edu. It is rare for CSU to close due to weather due to our well-equipped facilities department, but we want you to make the decision whether to attend based on your circumstances and comfort.

What should I wear?

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather. You may be a part of sessions that are both indoors and outdoors, especially if you choose to take the campus tour.
