Colorado State is an exciting place to be all year round, both on campus and around Fort Collins. In this blog series, we’re showcasing just some of the must-do activities for Rams in each season.
A chilly breeze blows through the air, the Lory Student Center smells like pumpkin spice, and your favorite cozy hoodies are on heavy rotation: It’s fall at Colorado State. Here are five fall must-do’s to get the full seasonal experience in Fort Collins.
#1. Cheer on the Rams at Canvas Stadium, Moby Arena, or the CSU Soccer Field
Throw on your best green and gold gear, get out the face paint and get your lungs ready to cheer the Rams on to victory during a football game at Canvas Stadium, a volleyball game at Moby Arena, or a soccer game at the CSU Soccer Field. At CSU, students are able to claim one free ticket to all games with the option to purchase up to two guest tickets to bring friends along.
#2. Catch a movie at the drive-in
Grab tickets to the newest superhero blockbuster, an old classic comedy, or even a live concert at the Holiday Twin Drive-In, located less than five miles from campus with an incredible view of the foothills.
#3. Take a road trip or a hike to see the leaves change
#4. Watch corgis parade through the city
Fort Collins is home to tons of unique events through the year, and one of our favorites has to be the Tour de Corgi. Make the short trip to Old Town to see costumed corgis (and their people) from all over the country gather to parade through the city.
#5. Head to Old Town to see the holiday season light up
Watching the night sky light up with hundreds of holiday lights is the perfect way to round out the fall season in Fort Collins. Bundle up with your favorite warm beverage and join your Fort Collins community every first week of November to welcome in the holiday season.
