Tailor your dance journey, fuel your creativity, and prepare for a diverse career as you explore, perform, and collaborate.
Get training in dance technique and performance, choreography, and pedagogy. You’ll take technique classes in classical and contemporary forms aimed at achieving a high level of performance and artistry, and you’ll have multiple opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in tangible ways, such as performance of repertoire, supervised teaching, supervised concert direction, and choreography for concerts. With opportunities for scholarly and creative research, community engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the degree is constructed for students wishing to double major in dance along with another discipline.
