The Boettcher Scholarship is a prestigious award that reflects a student’s accomplishments both in and outside the classroom. If you’re on the path to becoming a Boettcher Scholar, we hope you’ll seriously consider Colorado State as an option for your future regardless of whether you receive the award. You’ve already shown that you’re the type of student we want leading our state and university into the future.
Why choose Colorado State?
At CSU, Boettcher Scholars explore new pursuits, develop deep friendships, and give back to the campus and community. You’ll take part in exclusive events and programs designed by staff members from the Office of Undergraduate Research and Artistry. Students who are named Boettcher Scholarship semifinalists, finalists, and scholars all will receive scholarships and priority consideration for the University Honors Program.Boettcher benefits at CSU
Graduate student scholarships
At CSU, Boettcher Scholars are awarded a graduate school scholarship for any on-campus CSU graduate program. The scholarship covers two years of resident tuition, excluding fees and professional program tuition.
Honors program
Boettcher semifinalists, finalists, and scholars are automatically accepted to the University Honors Program, which includes a $1,000 Honors Award each year.

Our community of scholars is a close-knit group of students who spend time together for academics and fun. Scholars enjoy exclusive events, unparalleled support, and countless ways to get involved at CSU.
On-campus housing funds
CSU will cover the remaining cost of attendance for Boettcher Scholars for on-campus housing (based on standard, double-occupancy room).
Study abroad opportunities
CSU students have access to additional funding opportunities for Education Abroad experiences.
Biomedical engineering funds
Planning to study Biomedical Engineering in the five-year program? No problem. Boettcher covers the fifth year of coursework.
Undergrad research
