College is different than high school. Keep these things in mind while preparing to come to Colorado State University.
Do you want to be an advocate for health and well-being in your community?
Prepare to teach family systems and counseling, personal finance, nutrition, social policy, and more at the middle school, junior high, high school, or post–secondary levels. With a broad range of coursework and real-world experience, you’ll explore the breadth of content and skills you’ll use in your future career with the Family and Consumer Sciences Education major. You’ll apply for the licensure program in your third year and participate in student teaching, working closely with classroom teachers and students in schools. Complete your student teaching in local districts, around the country, or even while studying abroad.
