Application Tips

Note: College in Colorado, a state agency, is encouraging Colorado residents to apply to state colleges this week with the possibility of getting the application fee waived. Although we support College Application Week as a way to promote higher education, CSU waives application fees throughout the year only for those with low-income or other hardship situations as noted in our application. This helps us fulfill our mission of providing widespread access to an exceptional education.

Deadlines

Complete applications and all required documents must be submitted before 5 p.m. Mountain Time (7 ET; 4 PT) to meet the following deadlines.

Fall Semester Priority Application Deadlines:

Freshmen -- February 1
Transfers -- June 1
After these dates, but no later than July 1 (international applicants: May 1), completed applications are considered on a space-available basis.

Spring Semester Completed Application Deadline: November 1 (international applicants: October 1)
